Kym O’Donnell is a Tampa-based photographer working primarily in the analog realm, with work centering on historic themes and utilizing a variety of vintage processes, ranging from traditional wet darkroom practice to cyanotype, cliche verre and salt printing. She has shown her work in Thailand, Yugoslavia and Poland as well as various locales in the US and has been a guest artist and lecturer at various institutions including Hillsborough Community College and the Art institute of Tampa. In 2011 she partnered with the Tampa Theatre to produce ‘Cloudland’, a series of hand-colored images that evoked the early days of the historic movie palace. Since 1999 she has been a member of Experimental Skeleton, a Tampa-based artists’ collective.
